Firestick Installation Instructions
If you own a Firestick you need to Enable Unknown Source. By default Amazon has restricted its users from downloading 3rd-party apps.
Therefore please follow this guide:

Make sure to stay on the Home Screen and close all Apps if any are running in the background. Select Settings from home screen.

After going to the Settings simply scroll to the right side and then open My FireTV or Devices if you are using the older version.

Scroll down to open Developer Options. (If you do not see developer options; press the enter button 7 times. You will see a message saying developer option is enabled. Press the back button twice and then go back in to My Fire TV and you should now see developer options.)

Scroll down and highlight Apps From Unknown Sources and press the remote center button to change from off to on.

After this, you will see a pop-up warning message just ignore it and click Turn On.

Now you have enabled the installation of Unknown Source.
​
Now with these steps you will install the Downloader App which is the most important app to get 3rd-party applications.

First, make sure to close all running apps and from Home Screen go to the menu and select the Search symbol.

Once opening the Search box you will see the keyboard there. Type Downloader in the search box.

On the next screen, you will notice the list of various apps appearing there; click the orange Downloader app.

After this, click download.
​

The app will start downloading so just be patient. Once the app is installed you will see the Open button.

After installing the Downloader app we are now ready to install Surge TV on your device.
Launch Downloader on your device, and then you will be asked for permission to access Media, Files, and Photos, just hit the Allow button.

After the downloader opens, click browser (on left side) and type 9731370 ​ in the URL area. First click go; second click the link as directed.
Now within a few seconds Downloader will start downloading Get Surge TV and you can see the progress on your screen.
Once the app is downloaded, you will see the Installation Screen, from here hit the Install button.
Within a few seconds the app will be installed and then hit Done.
After this, click the home button on your remote to go back to the Home Screen. From here scroll over the App section located next to the Settings, and under that click My Apps.
Scroll down and you will find the Surge TV icon then hit the Select button to launch the app.
When the app is launched you will be asked to choose the Device. Select the Device that you have and then hit the Save button.
On the next screen you will be asked to put the Username and the Password. Use the details that you received from the separate email. After entering the details hit Add User and wait until it loads your profile.
When the user is added you have to select the Live TV, Movies, and Series sections one at a time to download its content.
Once the content is downloaded you can go to Live TV, Movies, or Series and there you will see various categories. Scroll to select your favorite channel to start streaming.
